SHOEI are constantly striving to exceed the very high standards that their customers expect of them when it comes to quality, comfort, value and care and this new warranty is another great example of that.
The warranty offers further peace of mind that in the unlikely event that there is a defect in the build quality or materials used in the construction of a helmet, then SHOEI will have no hesitation in Repairing, Replacing or Refunding against those defects immediately.
The what, the when, the who and the why…
What?
The warranty is free and applies to all SHOEI helmet purchases. It is valid for a period of 5 years of ‘normal’ usage from the date of purchase. The warranty covers both the quality of workmanship and the materials that the helmet is constructed from.
It does not cover helmets that have been subject to an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, modification or improper maintenance. In addition, fluorescent paints that are used on certain SHOEI models are also exempt from coverage as the passage of time and exposure to the elements may see those finishes naturally fade.
When?
The warranty covers all SHOEI helmet product purchases (within the UK and ROI) from 1st January 2013.
Who?
ALL ORIGINAL purchasers, who have proof of purchase, of a SHOEI helmet are covered for the warranty to be valid. The warranty is non-transferable to subsequent owners.
